An account health notification can be stressful. A rushed reply often causes more problems than the original issue. This checklist helps you respond calmly and accurately.
1. Read the whole notification
Copy the full text into a document. Note the policy named, the ASINs mentioned and any deadline.
2. Check the Account Health dashboard
Look for related warnings. Several small issues may point to one root cause.
3. Collect genuine records
Gather the original invoices, authorisation letters or test reports that relate to the issue. Never edit, recreate or alter documents. Submitting misleading evidence can lead to permanent action.
4. Identify the root cause honestly
Ask what actually happened. Was it a supplier problem, a listing error, a process gap? Amazon looks for a specific root cause, not a general apology.
5. Describe what has changed
Explain the corrective actions you have taken and the preventive steps that stop it happening again.
6. Keep a record
Save the notification, your response and any case IDs. Keep your own internal reference so you can track each issue separately.
